I was on the bus today with an expired transfer, hoping the driver wouldn’t notice. As I was getting off the bus, a black kid about my age got off too. The black kid was ahead of me and he dropped some change into the machine and I flashed my expired transfer to the driver. The driver quickly confronted the young black kid about not putting in enough change but didn’t even bother to check my transfer. Pretty sad that people will quickly question a black kid but not someone of a different race.

I just had my first battle ever yesterday, and although my crew got put up against the toughest and best school in the region, we still had fun. Just seeing the enthusiasm of all those bboys that were battling that day or just watching has inspired me. Seeing things like that really helps me know that the bboy community is strong and not going away.  
I love bboying!
